Terms of Service

The Vault is a personal relationship manager (PRM): a place to keep track of the people in your network - notes, contact details, reminders, events, and an optional AI assistant ("Ask Vault") to help you stay on top of it. It's currently invite-only and in active development, which means features, limits, and pricing may change as it matures.

You must be at least 16 years old to use The Vault. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Access currently requires an invite code. We can suspend or revoke access for accounts that violate these terms.

The Vault is for keeping track of your own genuine personal and professional relationships. Please don't use it to:

• Store data about people in a way that breaks the law in your jurisdiction (for example, without a lawful basis where one is required).
• Harass, stalk, or cause harm to anyone using information stored in the app.
• Attempt to access another account or data that isn't yours.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service in a way that degrades it for other users.
• Use Ask Vault to generate content that's illegal, harmful, or violates Anthropic's own usage policies.

You're responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter about other people - The Vault is a tool for organizing information you already have a legitimate reason to hold.

You own the data you put into The Vault - your contacts, notes, and everything else. We don't claim ownership over it. We store and process it solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your contacts to CSV, or request full account deletion, at any time.

Ask Vault is powered by a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude). Like any AI system, it can make mistakes or misunderstand a request. It's designed to always show you exactly what it plans to save before writing anything to your data, and nothing is saved without your explicit confirmation - but you're responsible for reviewing what it proposes before approving it.

If you choose to connect a Google account (or, in future, other services), your use of that connection is also governed by that provider's own terms. We only request the specific access a feature needs, and you can disconnect at any time from the Integrations page.

The Vault is under active development. We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, particularly during this early-access period. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product evolves.

You can stop using The Vault and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

The Vault is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of The Vault. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount (if any) you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If we make a material change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of The Vault after a change means you accept the updated terms.
